Welcome to "Herbarz" (Armorial) - a web site devoted assisting individuals in researching the history, heraldry and genealogy of the knighthood and nobility of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of Both Nations.

In particular I hope that this site is also of interest to individuals researching their own family history and roots. In that regard it is a companion to the threads discussed on the Herbarz (English language) and Szlachta - Forum discussion lists. Members of those lists may upload relevant information, graphics and resources that would be of interest to other list members. Users of this web-site are encouraged to subscribe to one or both of these lists.

If you possess materials relating to the heraldry, genealogy and history of  armigerous families of the Polish Commonwealth of Both Nations (Polish, Lithuanian, Ruthenian, German, Tartar, etc.) that you believe may be useful to other researchers, I would be pleased to host or link this information.

Page under construction. Not all of the pages and links are currently active.

Many of the pages in this web are bilingual - Polish/English. Some of the resource pages are in Polish only at present although it is my hope to translate as many of the resources as possible.

Lucki de armis Sas

On these pages you will also find information about the Lucki family bearing the arms Sas with particular regard to those lines from Bednarow near Stanislawow and Halicz. I am still in the beginning stage of collecting and presenting this information. If anyone has information about any of the many branches of this family I would be pleased to include it on this site. I would like to invite all the Luckis in Poland and around the world to participate in this endeavour.
